The Griffins' Nest is Eric Hamber's student-led, independent newspaper. Publishing all year round, The Nest covers topics relevant to students and staff in an informative, impartial, and professional manner.

In our last issue, The Nest’s Editorial Board sought to investigate and call attention to the lack of student and teacher representation in District decision-making in Vancouver schools. Upon submission, the article was censored, and The Nest called in legal advocates to protect our freedom of expression and freedom of the press. 

​

The full, uncensored article was included in Volume 10, Issue 3 of The Nest, published Wednesday, May 19, 2021. 

 

The Editorial Board took a risk in publishing this article and fought hard to get it into the hands of students, teachers, parents, and other community members.
